I’m still trying to figure out if it’s eating properly. It sucks in a piece of food, and then spits it out. Someone on the web said that may happen when the food is too dry and to soak it for a bit. The only absolute result of soaking the food so far is that it sinks immediately. Yeah, right. I can see how that helps. I’m thinking some freeze-dried sea monkeys or blood worms may give it more of an appetite. Oh… and yes, its name is Max. How original.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;/div&gt;</content>

The exercises are not for the faint of mind. They positively require creative thinking. But, again, WHY do we do what we do? How can we, as designers, use that knowledge to convey an idea AND invoke the reactions and feelings that we intend? This class reminds me of Basic Graphic Design, only deeper, and more focused on persuasion of the idea than on the execution of the idea.&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;/div&gt;</content>

How do you know when the oil is 350 deg.? The cooking thermometers I have don&amp;#8217;t go over 199, and gas ranges don&amp;#8217;t usually say what temp. the fire is. Well&amp;#8230; Long story short, the oil turned black and the chicken was still not fully cooked. Oven, meet chicken!&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;/div&gt;</content>

I have a real blog system going. I have an easy way to post to the blog system.&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class=MsoNormal&gt;&lt;font size=2 face=Arial&gt;&lt;span style='font-size:10.0pt; font-family:Arial'&gt;&lt;o:p&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class=MsoNormal&gt;&lt;font size=2 face=Arial&gt;&lt;span style='font-size:10.0pt; font-family:Arial'&gt;NOTE: I sought out a blog system, due to the inability to use the Mambo system properly on all Mac browsers, except FireFox. That means I can&amp;#8217;t post Newsflash items unless I&amp;#8217;m at home. (FireFox is not available on my class computers.)&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class=MsoNormal&gt;&lt;font size=2 face=Arial&gt;&lt;span style='font-size:10.0pt; font-family:Arial'&gt;&lt;o:p&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class=MsoNormal&gt;&lt;font size=2 face=Arial&gt;&lt;span style='font-size:10.0pt; font-family:Arial'&gt;BUT! Does all this technology and convenience mean I&amp;#8217;ll actually use the system? Who knows? This may be just another passing fancy, something to mess around with.
